The 2009-2010 season sees the introduction of two League Teams (one Mens and one Ladies) which will play as Basingstoke in our neighbouring Aldershot & Camberley League where they have been awarded entry directly into the top Divisions. The purpose of these teams is to provide stronger games for our stronger players whilst also retaining them in BDBL to rebuild the strength of our own league for the benefit of all who play in it.

These teams will be drawn from clubs across BDBL that typically (but not essentially) have teams in our top divisions. In order to be selected for and play in a team people must be a current member of a BDBL club, and currently affiliated to BDBL, Hampshire and Badminton England. In addition they must regularly represent their clubs in BDBL matches.

The teams are self-funded, managed by BDBL Committee, and run by the Captains it appoints.

Our home venue is Cranbourne Business & Enterprise College with Wednesday as our match night commencing at 8:00 p.m. If you would like to support these BDBL Teams and watch some good games please do come along. There's no charge.
